I've been really busy the past months. In march I had the excitement to go to Jamaica. We went for 10 days. There I played hand bells. then in late June.July I went to Honduras. It was amazing people came to see the meetings I was hosting. It was a blast. 14 Baptisms and like 20 people planned to have bible studies. The experience was life changing. I am starting school in 1 week. so life may be hectic but I will try to post more often!

People would have entire forests of these trees to produce rubber.

This is a rubber tree. In Guatemala I saw thousands of these trees. The people collect the sap of the tree and boil/ and even burn it, then it is mixed with some other chemicals and turned into rubber.

WOW! I totally just realized it's been like a long...... time since I last posted! So I thought I was due to write a little something. I have been so busy, Honers Western Civilization is a collage course I am taking as a sophomore. I am in Band, Coir, And hand bells. That and other school Projects have been keeping me busy. Also our church had a huge Yard Sale and raised over $700 for our trip to GYC(Generation Of Youth For Christ) last year. This past July I took a trip to Guatemala. It was Awesome I had lots of fun. I help a Evangelistic series there 19 sermons. God Blessed and got me through even when times were rough. I had 25 Baptisms in all which is good. I had over 600 People at my meetings so it was a big event. I was the answer to the peoples prayer. God truly did bless in enormous ways. I even got to go to the pacific ocean. If you know me I love the ocean. I actually am going to assiteague and chiggiteague in less than 11 days. In the spring I am planning a trip to Jamaica with L.S. (La Sonnette). Ma-be this coming summer a trip to Africa if God allows. Please keep me in prayer I am go wing through some hard times. But as always God blesses a cheerful giver. I will try to write more often. Lets see how it goes.

BMA Alumni Weekend!

Finally it is here! I have always enjoyed coming to alumni weekend at BMA. Listening to the band play Battle Hymn of the Republic dreaming I was playing too! This year at BMA I have been playing French horn in band and love it. I will be playing as I dreamed tomorrow. If you have never heard bma play, then you are in for an awesome treat! We also have a marching group. They march in with the banners of the honor classes that have graduated from bma. It truly is amazing!

It finally is Sabbath! Time to rest. I am so..... thankful that we have no school on Saturday! Today in Biology Mrs. Bechtel the Bio. teacher had her workers including me help her do a really cool germ experiment! We put glowing powder on our hands and infected all the kids! It was funny to see the kids reactions when she had a special light and said lets see all the germs you have? Most of the class had picked up some of the glow powder off the Door or from the quiz we handed them! God has so... many cool and exciting experiments that help us to better understand science.

I decided today that my love for the Ocean is ginormous! Ever since i was little i loved collecting shells, but hated the ocean water till one year my dad took me into it and i became in love w/t the ocean. I was to the ocean 7 times over 15 years! Now I have a longing to go so ... I decided to go this summer! I am praying that my dad will take me for a week! But if he only takes me for 3 or 4 days i will be a very happy young man! I want to go into marine biology! I hope some day to live close to the ocean for i never get board of being there! I hope I will be able to go! I will take pics and post them when i get back!

I was an attendee of this past years GYC 2009-2010. God truly was leading the sermons were awesome! The seekers were on fire for Christ. The night meetings were based on Romans1:6, to not be ashamed of the Gospel of Christ.During the day we had a plethora of meetings to choose from and go to! I had a very hard time choosing! I ended up going to 2 different ones David Assecreck,and Nathan Reynolds. As I sat and listened to the presentations I was unAshamed to tell others. On Friday January 1, in the 23degree weather,with a huge wind chill, I went door to door with my new friend Ru. It was a long road, but by Gods grace every home that someone answered the door the person accepted a bible study card! I was truly amazed! God may have a plane for you're life just let him lead you! Hope to see you at GYC 2010 in Baltimore MD.

I am so thankful that Christmas is almost here! I love all the fellowship food, and goodies that we have over the holidays! We truly are blessed! I think of poor people over the holiday and try to play extra free rice, so some family that didn't have a meal for Christmas will get a surprise one! I hope all is well enjoy the family fellowship while you can ! I am not so fortunate since all 4 or my grandparents have been dead for over a year now! Enjoy every moment you have with them for you never know when your last might come! Be thankful for what you have for some people have nothing!

Yahoo! We had our first off campus tour for band 09'! It was amazing. We went to the Hanover S.D.A. Church. I was of course playing the french horn. My favorite instrument! God truly blessed and played through us. We had our ringfestival in Toledo Ohio! it was a blast! We played with 12 other bell choirs. The sound was awesome. I am also practicing in choir for our Christmas concert! December 11. We are planning to preform Vivaldi's Gloria! Please continue to pray for me as i am working hard to do my best in all my musical classes!

Philadelphia youth challenge 2009

My decision to apply for Philadelphia youth challenge started when Pastor Tara Vincross invited students to participate at B.M.A.'s visitors day 2009. I heard that I could make any where from one thousand five hundred dollars to four thousand dollars. I was very excited because all my eight grade year I dreaded working in what they call industry! I call it slave labor camp. After they accepted my application and my family dropped me off there in Philly, I was blessed the first week when I met the people I would be staying with they were awesome, or so I thought till I found out I was there main chef.

Even though I enjoy cooking, after eight weeks it became tiresome.

My first day canvassing was a very good learning experience. I had many good and bad responses from the people I met at the doors. Although Philadelphia is known as a rude hateful city many of my experiences at the door were good and encouraging to me, a first timer at canvassing!

One day while I was out canvassing I was feeling very discouraged because I hadn't sold any books all day. When my leader picked me up and dropped me and a friend off at another street he reminded us to pray before we got to the doors, as I had forgotten to do earlier that day. As we were praying I remembered that our book of the day was “the Great Controversy” now the book of the day is the book that our group decided to promote for the day. When it was my turn to pray I prayed that I would be able to sell at least one “Great controversy”. After pray we went to our first door on that street.

I was so nervous that I was shaking as I reached to ring the door bell, I waited about fifteen seconds not hearing anything I decided to walk away. As I was turning the door opened and an older man stepped out and asked “how may I help you?” I greeted him and started going through the canvasses, at first he kept eye contacted with me but as I went on he seemed to get bored and uninterested. When I got to the “Great Controversy” canvass his telephone rang, I was sure he would say “okay well I have to go bye” but instead he said “hold on let me get that I'll be right back” I waited for what seemed like hours and finally he came back carrying in his hand a ten dollar bill. As he approached me he said “I would like that book, the great controversy” and here is ten dollars, (the exact amount the book cost). I didn't canvass the book to him and he knew he wanted it! In Philadelphia youth challenge we have a saying that goes like this With every great controversy that goes into a home an angel goes with it!

God was definitely leading me to him! God has helped me so much this summer it's was amazing and as many of you know he convicted me,and I decided to be baptized! God is amazing

This curious dragonfly was very pretty and didn't like to be looked at I had to take this photo really fast!

This dragonfly was very interesting to watch it always landed at the same spot every time it flew away.

This tiger lily was very pretty and if you look really close you can see some of the pollen blowing away!
